Your protection is our primary concern. It doesn't help anyone for you to worry about what might be coming into your network from other computers. For this reason, we do our very best to keep up with IT advances and determine if it would protect all of us better.
At the present time, we utilize this technology.
INTERNET: Broadband Cable ISP-RoadRunner
CPU/Memory: AMD Sempron 2800+ w/ 512 L2 cache 1.5 gig of DDR PC 3200 .
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows XP Professional edition including Service Pack 2 (giving extra firewall protection) with all scheduled updates completed on a weekly basis.
Virus/Firewall: Norton System Works Professional 2004 including Antivirus, Ghost, Utilities, GoBack and CleanSweep. All updates are scheduled and completed on a weekly basis.
Other programs: Microsoft XP Professional Edition Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher 2000. We also offer Photoshop12 by Broderbund. All updates and upgrades as expected.
For the Future:
We currently recommend 'GoToMyPC' as an option for remote access for your employees and also your Virtual Assistant relationships.
As this is something that not many have thought of, I looked into Cyber Liability insurance coverage for myself and my clients. I want you to be as comfortable with this working relationship as I am.
I am also looking into 64bit CPU's and Microsoft Longhorn systems, but I think I might give those companies the time to work out their bugs first.
